About the role#
We are looking for a Water Engineer Co-op or Intern to join our Water Business Line in New Lexington, Ohio, for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site work. You will gain hands-on experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater engineering while supporting project management and technical design efforts.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate, plan, and design projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure, including treatment facilities, pumping stations, and water and sewer mains.
- Conduct site visits to perform sampling, water quality analyses, and process troubleshooting.
- Support Asset Management projects by performing data analytics, condition assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials for internal and client use.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Prior internship experience or relevant coursework in water, wastewater, or water resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- An EIT certification or a strong desire to obtain one.
