About the role#
This internship offers students a chance to gain experience in general contracting and construction. You will work with project teams to support active projects and learn how construction work is planned, managed, and executed. This position reports to a project team that provides mentorship and guidance throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with scheduling, budgeting, billing, documentation, and account management.
- Assist estimators with various parts of the bid process.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
- Gain exposure to both office tasks and jobsite operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Zoom.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
- Ability to visit job sites, walk 2-3 miles daily, climb stairs, ladders, or scaffolding, and lift up to 30 pounds.
