About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides an immersive overview of the industrial construction management process. You will rotate through three core areas: Pre-Construction, Production, and Field Operations. The program includes virtual professional development training and bi-weekly mentorship meetings.
What you'll do#
- Learn the proposal and budgeting process, including conceptual estimating and quantity takeoffs.
- Review drawings and identify scopes of work to assist with bidding, buyout, and subcontractor selection.
- Gain insight into design-build versus plan-spec approaches and work with MEP subcontractors.
- Manage project documentation, track project flow, and participate in closeout processes.
- Apply jobsite safety practices, such as inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
- Attend pre-construction meetings and participate in daily site walks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills.
- Solid mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
- A positive attitude and an interest in seeking growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CMiC, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project is helpful.
- Prior construction management internship experience is a plus.

- Location: North Wales, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
- Environment: You will work in office settings and move around active construction sites, which involves exposure to outdoor elements and construction noise.
