    About the role#

    Ardurra is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This role provides exposure to engineering projects that support municipalities and public agencies. You will work with a team of professionals to build technical skills and gain experience in the civil engineering industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the design and analysis of transportation infrastructure, including roadway, drainage, signing, and pavement markings.
    • Prepare engineering drawings, reports, technical memoranda, and specifications.
    • Participate in field investigations, field tests, measurements, and site inspections.
    • Contact vendors to obtain budgetary quotes and assist in developing construction cost estimates.
    • Review design drawings within defined limits for accuracy and adherence to standards.
    • Support permitting, regulatory compliance documentation, and project scheduling.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
    • Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software is preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid internship located in Everett, Washington.
    • The work is on-site and performed primarily in an office setting.
    • This position does not offer sponsorship.
