About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Public Works Engineering Intern for the summer 2027 term. This position offers exposure to real world engineering work while you support the planning, design, and construction of public works projects. You will gain technical experience and explore career paths within the industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist project engineers with basic plan details, drawings, and calculations.
- Support the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
- Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums.
- Participate in field visits to observe tests, take measurements, and collect field data.
- Use software tools to complete project assignments and support team deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain self-motivation.
