About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers rising college seniors and graduate students hands-on experience in institutional equity research. You will work alongside investment professionals who cover over 400 publicly traded companies. The program focuses on real-time financial analysis, stock valuation, and direct interaction with corporate executives. Interns participate in a structured environment that includes orientation, sector assignments, and a final project presentation.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytical support for ongoing and new research projects.
- Develop and maintain financial models under the supervision of analysts and associates.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Participate in industry and company research, financial analysis, and report writing.
- Attend earnings calls and investor presentations.
- Contribute to daily research-sales meetings and department briefings.
- Interact with internal and external industry experts and corporate executives.
- Build presentation and communication skills through project work and networking.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising college senior or graduate student.
- Major in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance and involvement in a university investment club.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Intellectual curiosity about markets and businesses.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and communicate confidently in a team environment.
- High level of maturity and professionalism.
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal or FactSet is preferred.
- Financial modeling coursework or experience is valued.
- Leadership roles in finance organizations or previous finance internships are a plus.
