About the role#
Copper Run is seeking interns for our buy-side M&A team. This internship provides exposure to the full lifecycle of investment banking deals. You will work directly with our deal teams in a professional office environment. This is a part-time, paid position based in Columbus, Ohio for the Winter 2027 term. Please note that this role is 100% on-site.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research to identify and contact potential acquisition targets.
- Evaluate targets to determine how well they fit specific client strategies.
- Reach out to executives and senior leadership to start deal conversations.
- Manage and update prospect data within our CRM system.
- Create marketing materials such as pitch decks, letters, and teasers.
- Sit in on client calls and internal meetings to observe professional communication and deal progression.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college junior or senior.
- Coursework in finance, accounting, marketing, sales, or business administration.
- Previous work experience where you performed well.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

- Work Modality: This is an on-site role. Remote work is not available.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship starting at $15.00 per hour.
