About the role#
Copper Run is hiring interns for the Winter 2027 term. This is a part-time, paid position based in our Cleveland office. You will work directly with our deal team to gain exposure to the buy-side M&A process. This role is strictly on-site.
What you'll do#
- Support deal team members to drive engagements forward.
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate acquisition targets.
- Assist with direct outreach to executives to generate deal conversations.
- Maintain target and prospect data within our CRM system.
- Develop marketing materials such as teasers and pitch decks.
- Sit in on intro and client update calls to learn professional communication strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student, with a preference for Juniors and Seniors.
- Coursework in finance, accounting, marketing, sales, or business administration.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
