About the role#
Baptist Memorial Health Care is hiring an Intern-Nurse II for the 3 North unit. This is a full-time, paid internship for nursing graduates who are currently awaiting their professional licensure. You will work on-site in Tennessee under the guidance of registered nurses to support patient care and unit operations.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and contribute to their care plans.
- Implement and evaluate care plans as directed by a registered nurse.
- Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
- Participate in clinical leadership development and ongoing educational activities.
- Complete assigned goals and contribute to health care delivery improvements.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II status is limited to 90 days following your graduation date.
