About the role#
This role provides technical assistance to the nursing team for a specific group of patients. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse to help achieve quality patient outcomes and support daily service functions for staff, patients, and guests.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients while working under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Help develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
- Participate in activities that improve health care delivery.
- Build your clinical leadership knowledge and complete ongoing educational goals.
What you'll need#
- You must be a graduate of a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II category is limited to 90 days following your graduation date.
- Basic computer literacy.
- You must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
Location & details#
- Location: Oxford, Mississippi.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- The internship term operates on a rolling basis.
