About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program at Barclays offers hands-on experience in risk management within the financial services industry. You will work within the Compliance function to support the bank in meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining internal standards. This role requires an individual contributor mindset, focusing on technical development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll do#
- Guide the business in adhering to the established Compliance risk management framework.
- Provide advisory services to colleagues regarding regulations for specific products and services.
- Use data and analytics to monitor and influence the Compliance risk landscape.
- Develop insights into laws, rules, regulations, financial crime, and conduct.
- Deliver training to business stakeholders.
- Perform assigned tasks to a high standard, identify solutions based on technical experience, and escalate policy breaches as necessary.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in the penultimate year of your degree.
- You will graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 or above.
- A hunger to learn new technologies.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
