About the role#
Red Gold is hiring a Finance Intern to support our accounting teams. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date. You will work on-site at one of our Indiana locations.
What you'll do#
You will gain experience across multiple accounting functions. Your daily tasks include:
- Assisting with cost and plant accounting, including reporting and analysis.
- Managing sales revenue and fixed asset accounting, such as property and sales tax.
- Supporting general accounting tasks like bank reconciliations, month end closing, journal entries, and budgeting.
- Performing credit evaluations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- You have achieved at least sophomore standing.
- You are proficient in MS Office.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are comfortable solving problems, conducting research, and investigating discrepancies.
- You have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Locations: Elwood, Orestes, and Geneva, Indiana.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This position requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time. You may occasionally need to lift up to 25 pounds.
