About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a student for a 4 or 8-month co-op or internship position within the US Corporate Tax team. This role is based in our Oakville office and begins in January 2027. You will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing time between the office, client sites, and virtual environments.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients by applying technical knowledge from your accounting coursework.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments while following regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, responding to their requests and suggestions.
- Communicate regularly with team members to provide progress updates and address any issues.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree or diploma with a focus on accounting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and a proactive approach to taking initiative.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- A genuine desire to provide high-quality client service.
