About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a student for a 4 or 8-month Co-op or Intern position within the US Corporate Tax team. This role starts in January 2027 and is based in either our Calgary or Edmonton offices. You will work in a full-time capacity, contributing to tax compliance projects and supporting our clients.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients using technical knowledge from your studies.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Communicate regularly with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- A commitment to teamwork and providing high-quality client service.

- Locations: Calgary (8th Ave SW) or Edmonton (103 St), Alberta.
- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Status: This is a paid, full-time position.
