About the role#
As an Admissions Student Representative, you act as a primary ambassador for the admissions office. You help create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and share insights into the academic and social aspects of campus life.
What you'll do#
- Lead prospective students and their families on walking tours across campus.
- Share your personal experiences as a student.
- Promote university programs to visitors.
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming environment for all guests.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at Bethel University.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse groups.
- A punctual and organized approach to managing your schedule and shift commitments.
- A friendly personality that helps build rapport with families quickly.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
- Work is on-site and requires walking or standing for 90 minutes at a time.
- Shifts are generally 1.5 hours long, occurring between Monday and Friday.
- We look for availability during specific windows, such as 8:45-10:15, 11:00-12:30, 12:15-1:45, or 2:00-3:30.
- The expected commitment is around two shifts per week, though more hours are available if you are interested.
- This is a paid position.
