About the role#
As a Structural Engineer Intern for our Substation team, you will contribute to infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on experience in engineering design and analysis. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of design specifications and contract drawings.
- Perform engineering analyses and assist in report production.
- Prepare basic calculations for project needs.
- Analyze systems using computer modeling software.
- Organize and maintain project materials and technical references.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering program.
- A preferred emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- Completion of at least one design course is preferred.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding, including a background check and drug screen.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

This position is based on-site in one of the following locations: Overland Park, KS; Bloomington, MN; Houston, TX; Austin, TX; College Station, TX; or Dallas, TX.
