About the role#
This Investment Banking Analyst position is based within the Metals & Mining team in Toronto. The program begins with a one-week training and orientation session. You will work on public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory projects. The role includes opportunities to network across business groups, participate in learning seminars, and receive career guidance from mentors.
What you'll do#
- Run valuation analyses.
- Perform complex financial modeling.
- Conduct industry and company research and analysis.
- Develop client presentations.
- Write internal and external marketing memoranda.
- Support client relationships and business development.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with a graduation date of Spring 2028.
- A focus on Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mechanical Engineering, or Statistics.
- A proven track record of excellent academic standing and extracurricular participation.
- Excellent analytical skills in business, financial, and credit analysis.
- A demonstrated interest in the Metals & Mining industry.
