    About the role#

    The Facilities Engineering internship at Boeing offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization. You will work directly with mentors to solve real-world problems related to building maintenance, infrastructure planning, and capital improvement projects. This program is designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a future leader in the aerospace industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Work directly with a mentor in your field of study.
    • Tour manufacturing and research facilities to see products up close.
    • Interact with company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of the organization.
    • Build a professional network through social events and engaging activities.
    • Apply engineering principles to translate customer requirements into feasible design options.
    • Plan and execute facility construction projects in accordance with building codes and regulations.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
    • Major in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering.
    • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
    • Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
    • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements (must be a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15).
