About the role#
Bolton & Menk is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 season. You will join our Transportation service group in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is a paid, full-time internship that requires on-site work. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
You will support our team on various transportation projects. Your daily tasks will include:
- Assisting with roadway and intersection design layouts.
- Performing traffic counting and plan production for highway improvement projects.
- Preparing reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Completing design calculations and reviewing shop drawings.
- Participating in construction observation, construction staking, and construction administration.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program or a closely related field.
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
- A valid driver’s license.
- The physical ability to navigate rugged terrain and work in extended outdoor conditions for construction observation duties.
