About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 season within the Transportation service group. You will work on various infrastructure projects to gain practical experience in design, planning, and construction administration. This role involves a mix of office-based tasks and field work.
What you'll do#
- Assist with roadway and intersection design layouts and plan production.
- Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform traffic counting and civil engineering calculations.
- Assist with construction observation, construction staking, and construction administration.
- Review shop drawings and perform plan reviews.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program or a closely related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain for site visits.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
