About the role#
Boulay is hiring for an Assurance Internship for the Winter 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Eden Prairie, Minnesota office. You will work with our team on audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements for a variety of public and private clients. We provide one-on-one training and mentorship to help you develop your accounting skills.
What you'll do#
- Perform compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statements.
- Participate in client engagements, including testing of cash, accounts payable, revenue, and expenses.
- Verify the validity and accuracy of client financial documents.
- Assist with drafting client communications and preparing reports.
- Participate in discussions with key finance personnel, including CEOs and CFOs.
- Assist with special projects such as due diligence or mergers and acquisitions.
- Learn and build competency with necessary accounting software.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Completion of intermediate accounting course(s).
- Completion of some advanced accounting or audit coursework by the start of the internship.
- Awareness of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
