About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within EPC project execution. You will work directly with our engineering team to support daily project activities, documentation, and technical tasks. This position focuses on your professional development and learning through mentorship. No prior work experience is required.
What you'll do#
- Support the engineering team by organizing and reviewing project documentation and basic calculations.
- Prepare document submittal cover sheets, material purchasing specifications, and material compliance lists.
- Maintain and update key engineering lists, such as the Valve List, Instrument List, Piping Line List, and Equipment List.
- Create and manage the Master Bill of Materials.
- Assist in preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents and technical documentation packages.
- Perform basic calculations for fluid flow rates, pressure, and pipe velocity under the guidance of a mentor.
- Review drawings for consistency and completeness.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for tracking, reporting, and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a high school or college student in Mechanical Engineering.
- A basic understanding of physics, mathematics, and engineering principles.
- A strong interest in the field and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
