About the role#
As a Marketing Intern, you will support the Marketing and Corporate Partnerships teams at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches. You will contribute to the promotion of Spring Training for the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals. This role involves working with front office staff, gameday crews, and fans to deliver in-game experiences and manage partnership activations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with marketing efforts, including media planning, promotions, community relations, and content creation.
- Support Spring Training game production by managing run-of-show scripting and in-game entertainment elements.
- Handle the request and distribution process for media credentials.
- Gather and develop marketing data and analytics for department use.
- Help the Corporate Partnerships team monitor sponsor contract provisions, track inventory, and execute promotions.
- Prepare client presentations and assist with sponsor fulfillment tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduation, in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva.
- Professional experience using social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written formats.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
- Work is performed on-site at the stadium and office.
- The schedule is rolling and requires flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
