    About the role#

    As a Product Cybersecurity Specialist Intern, you will work on high-tech training products. This includes full flight simulators, virtual training solutions, and medical equipment. You will create and implement security solutions, including policies, standards, and technical controls. This role is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 4 to April 23, 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Analyze product specifications to assess safety risks.
    • Implement security measures and data recovery plans.
    • Install, configure, test, and upgrade security software in a product laboratory.
    • Secure networks using firewalls, password protection, and other systems.
    • Inspect hardware to identify vulnerable access points.
    • Collaborate with team members and share technical knowledge.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related program.
    • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
    • Familiarity with network products such as Cisco.
    • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity.

    • Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid.
    • Employment: This is a paid, full-time internship.
    • Requirements: Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
