About the role#
This is a full-time internship for students pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics. You will work on projects involving data analytics, business intelligence, and process improvement within our aviation and aerospace component manufacturing operations. This role is a fixed-term position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 4 to April 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain SharePoint lists and pages.
- Create Power BI data models, dashboards, and reports.
- Build Power Automate workflows to support business processes.
- Research and evaluate approaches for data collection and reporting.
- Support the design and implementation of performance metrics.
- Analyze data and present your findings to stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, demonstrations, and project discussions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a STEM bachelor's degree program, preferably in your 3rd or 4th year.
- A base understanding of Object-Oriented programming.
- An interest in data analytics, business intelligence, or process improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- The ability to learn new software and technologies independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Ability to meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
Location & details#
- Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Paid position with reimbursement for internship costs up to $250 upon presentation of supporting documents.
