About the role#
CAPTRUST is hiring an Institutional Client Service Intern for the fall 2026 term in our Phoenix, Arizona office. This position works with the Client Management Team to support our institutional advisory and investment consulting operations. You will gain experience across our practice lines, including private wealth management and tax services, while working directly with financial advisors and peers.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with financial advisors and the Client Management Team on daily operations.
- Help the performance reporting team prepare and review quarterly reports.
- Assist in creating fee and expense benchmarking analysis.
- Support new research, project initiatives, and ad hoc tasks to meet deadlines.
- Observe client investment committee meetings and participant advice sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program as a rising Junior or Senior.
- Preference for majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Financial Planning, or Taxation.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and critical thinker.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and writing skills.

- This is an on-site position based in Phoenix, Arizona.
- The internship is paid.
