This approach ensures your materials are seen while recruiters are still actively reviewing initial submissions. You can use this timing to your advantage to stand out in a competitive field. Beyond timing, reaching out to the right people can make a significant difference in your application process. Intern Insider surfaces the recruiters behind the company roles so you can contact them directly to ask about the position or a potential referral. Connecting with a human contact often improves your response rates compared to submitting through a general portal.
