About the role#
The Campus Ministry Fellowship is a full-time position for recent college graduates seeking hands-on ministry experience. Fellows serve for one to two years on a university campus, working alongside a Local Director to support evangelization, worship, and community service. During this time, you will pursue graduate-level coursework in theology or pastoral ministry to prepare for a future career in campus ministry.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Local Director on initiatives related to Evangelization, Word, Worship, Community, and Service.
- Mentor and disciple student leaders to help them grow in their roles.
- Supervise student programs, including retreats, music ministry, and community service projects.
- Provide logistical support for student-led activities and events.
- Participate in diocesan events, staff conferences, and retreats.
- Respond to the pastoral needs of students as they arise.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree in fields such as Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, History, Communications, or Public Health.
- Status as a practicing Catholic in good standing.
- Prior experience in campus ministry.
- Ability to work effectively in multi-faith and multicultural settings.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize duties in both office and event settings.
