About the role#
The Copywriting Intern supports our marketing team by creating written content for our website and product pages. You will report to the Senior Copywriter and the Product Copywriter. This role helps you build a professional portfolio while you contribute to our business initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Write and edit copy for product pages and customer-facing content on our website.
- Proofread work for grammar, spelling, consistency, and brand standards.
- Research products, industry trends, and customer insights to improve our messaging.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce and marketing teams to develop product copy.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and help with content audits.
- Support the Cavender's culture and our mission, vision, and values.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
- You have strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- You can adapt your writing style for different audiences.
- You have attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- You are a creative thinker who can turn ideas into content.
- You are comfortable receiving feedback and revising your work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- This is an on-site role based in Tyler, Texas.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
