About the role#
The Citi Services 10-week Summer Analyst Program provides hands-on experience through training and real-world projects. You will work closely with your team on tasks related to financial analysis, business development, client engagement, and market research. This program aims to provide a foundation for a long-term career at the firm, with the possibility of returning as a full-time Analyst upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research to assess industry trends and the impact of macroeconomic factors.
- Develop materials that support business development, product commercialization, and revenue growth, identifying opportunities where data-driven insights and AI capabilities can add value.
- Assist with process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk, including exploring how AI and machine learning tools can automate tasks or improve decision-making.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of AI-powered automation in improving operational workflows and reducing manual effort.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior leadership, effectively communicating complex data analysis and insights from AI-driven tools.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior in college, graduating between December 2027 and May 2028, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, lookups, and basic modeling, as well as a working knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook.
- An interest in financial services and a drive to learn how technology and AI are transforming the industry.
- Exposure to analytical platforms or an eagerness to learn about AI-specific tools, such as natural language processing applications or machine learning dashboards.
