About the role#
The City of Oklahoma City is hiring an intern to provide research, administrative, and technical support to a City department. This part-time role serves as a training opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain experience in public administration and department operations. You will work no more than 29 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Provide research and administrative support to your assigned department.
- Handle a variety of project-related, department-specific, or financial assignments.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior undergraduate or master's student, or graduation within the last two years.
- A major in aviation management, aviation technology, public administration, business, or a closely related program.
- Minimum age of 18 at the time of application.
- Ability to pass a thorough TSA background check, including fingerprinting, if assigned to the Airports Department.
- Preference is given to students with coursework in airport management.

- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.50 to $22.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time, year-round, maximum 29 hours per week.
