About the role#
The Director of Student Development and Engagement leads and coordinates initiatives to improve student career readiness, persistence, and success. You will align college priorities to create a student experience that spans from enrollment to graduation. This includes mentorship, leadership, and community engagement opportunities. You will act as a liaison with university partners to coordinate resources for CBAT student enrollment and support.
What you'll do#
- Develop, implement, and assess student programs and services.
- Provide career and professional development coaching.
- Network with prospective students, alumni, employers, and the community.
- Cultivate student engagement, leadership, and service opportunities.
- Collaborate with college departments and university partners to support student success.
- Analyze data to make informed decisions and solve problems.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience in a student-facing role within higher education.
- Knowledge of the student experience and development in a higher education setting.
- Ability to design, plan, and direct student programs.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in student success, career services, or leadership at the university level is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and deliver measurable student outcomes is preferred.
