About the role#
This is a paid summer internship based in Atlanta, Indiana. You will work with the Retail Operations Lead to support retail and online store activities. The role provides experience in the agriculture industry and includes a summer project. You will be provided with furnished housing or a stipend.
What you'll do#
- Assist with sales and inventory for the retail store.
- Restock the showroom and keep the store and inventory room clean.
- Process ecommerce and email orders by printing, packaging, and shipping items.
- Tag and stock new inventory.
- Communicate store needs, low stock items, and reorder requests to the team.
- Travel to events to set up and tear down the Mobile Store, including some overnight trips.
- Collaborate with Country Store team members on store operations and challenges.
What you'll need#
- Previous work experience demonstrating your ability to provide customer service.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn Lightspeed point of purchase software.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and totes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to complete required training with the Retail Operations Lead.
- Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
