    About the role#

    The Mars Food Quality, Food, and Safety Internship is a full-time, 10-week summer program. You will work on-site in Greenville, Mississippi, to address real business problems and gain professional experience. The program includes formal mentorship, access to training resources, and opportunities to network with peers and leadership.

    What you'll do#

    • Plan the flow of work or materials to maximize efficiency.
    • Initiate line improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
    • Conduct projects to increase plant efficiency.
    • Optimize performance and drive value leadership.
    • Work with cross-functional teams.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a degree program for Food Science, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, or Microbiology.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data management.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for effective communication.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
    • Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
    • Access to personal transportation to and from the work site.

    • Schedule: Full-time, Summer 2027.
    • Compensation: This is a paid internship.
