About the role#
Coaction Global is hiring a Claims Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Morristown, New Jersey office. You will work directly with our claims teams to learn how we support our product verticals, including casualty, property, and executive liability. This program offers hands-on experience and the potential to explore full-time career paths within the company.
What you'll do#
- Learn the claims process through an apprenticeship with a senior claim professional who will provide ongoing feedback.
- Review claim files and litigated cases.
- Participate in meetings with personnel from all levels of the organization.
- Join claims investigations, including attending mediations, trials, and court sessions.
- Interface with external vendors such as defense and coverage lawyers.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other departments to collect claim data and identify industry trends.
- Participate in round table sessions to discuss investigation findings and claims evaluation.
What you'll need#
- You must be a rising junior with an anticipated graduation date of May 2028.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- An interest in pursuing a career within the insurance industry.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Economics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized.
- A willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks and work well within a team.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Morristown, New Jersey.
- This is an on-site role requiring attendance five days a week.
- We do not provide relocation assistance, so candidates must live in the local area.
- The internship runs from June through August 2027.
