About the role#
Corteva Agriscience is hiring a full-time intern for our Research and Development organization in Indianapolis. You will work alongside experienced scientists and technical experts in an industrial setting to support discovery projects. This position runs for at least 10 weeks between May and August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Apply computational modeling, molecular design, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, and data analysis to support discovery projects.
- Contribute to the discovery and optimization of new chemical leads for insect, weed, and disease control.
- Make novel observations, interpret data, and draw scientific conclusions.
- Work in a safe manner and follow our safety culture.
- Present project reviews throughout the summer and a final poster to colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Masters or Doctorate degree in computational chemistry, informatics, chemistry, chemical engineering, computer science, bioinformatics, or a related scientific discipline.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks.
- Ability to relocate to Indianapolis, Indiana for the duration of the internship.
