About the role#
As a Commercial Sales Intern at Corteva Agriscience, you will gain real-world experience in the agriculture industry. You will work alongside a mentor, such as a District Sales Leader or Territory Manager, to build a work plan and set clear objectives. This role requires you to work independently to reach productivity goals while learning about our business areas, including crop protection, pasture and land management, turf and ornamental, and pest management.
What you'll do#
- Promote new products and represent Corteva offerings to customers.
- Manage plot tours and trials.
- Conduct customer surveys and collect testimonials.
- Analyze product performance in the field.
- Gather and analyze market data to support sales and marketing teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and your own schedule.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse groups.
- A high level of initiative, creativity, honesty, and drive.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate trustworthiness.
- A genuine interest in agriculture and the ability to learn about production technology and markets.
