About the role#
BBI Logistics is hiring Sales Interns for our Summer 2027 program. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience in the logistics industry. You will receive training on our proprietary TMS software and operational tasks while working alongside an Account Executive mentor. The program lasts 11 weeks and includes a sales competition, volunteer activities, and company outings.
What you'll do#
- Manage freight movement and solve problems in real time.
- Negotiate and communicate with customers and carriers.
- Participate in cold calling and customer-based role play activities.
- Build a prospect list of potential customers.
- Collaborate with fellow interns and participate in the company sales competition.
- Gain training on the logistics industry and BBI operational tasks.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior undergraduate status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Economics.
- A competitive spirit and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work on-site at our Columbus or Tampa offices.
- Eagerness to learn about a career in sales.
