About the role#
BBI Logistics is looking for a student to join our team as an HR/Recruiting Intern. This role offers practical experience in Talent Acquisition and HR while you work alongside our Transportation Team. You will refine your professional skills and gain a deep understanding of recruiting processes throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Learn the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to assessing to offering candidates.
- Shadow our recruiting team and work directly with them.
- Build sourcing skills by identifying potential candidates and crafting outreach messages.
- Learn and apply FMCSA and DOT hiring requirements.
- Review applications to assess qualifications.
- Conduct phone screenings and in-person interviews, taking on more responsibility as you grow in the role.
- Participate in weekly interview meetings with leadership to share your insights.
- Complete and present a portfolio project to leadership.
- Join fellow interns for volunteer activities and company outings.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior undergraduate status pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- A hard-working and positive attitude.
- Ability to learn in a busy office environment.
- Ability to work on-site in our office.
