About the role#
The Data Governance and Management Intern will join the Data and AI Governance Team for the Summer 2027 term. You will assist with projects including metadata management, access management, data quality, and data retention. This position offers exposure to senior leaders and includes mentorship to support your professional development.
What you'll do#
- Work with stakeholders and department analysts to identify and define data requirements.
- Document governance policies and track management exceptions.
- Deliver data management projects under the guidance of the Data Governance Office.
- Provide project support to the analytics team and management.
- Implement new policies and procedures.
- Learn to manage data within big data environments.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Data Science, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Schedule: Full-time, Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $24.23 to $36.35 per hour.
