About the role#
The Finance Internship at Crest Industries provides hands-on experience in corporate finance, treasury functions, and financial planning. You will work directly with the Finance and Treasury teams to support strategic objectives, manage financial data, and assist in reporting processes. This role is designed for individuals who want to gain exposure to financial analysis, cash flow management, and budgeting within a utility industry setting.
What you'll do#
- Support the Finance and Treasury teams in executing short and long-term financial strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
- Work with Crest and business unit leadership to develop relationships that advance the business.
- Gain insight into the needs of business units and executive leadership.
- Make sound decisions, even when working with incomplete information.
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting, the quarterly budgeting process, and management of the corporate credit card program.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Up to 1 year of training or experience as a financial analyst.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical objectives with non-technical team members.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
