About the role#
This is a full-time co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work directly with the Compliance team to manage investment and trading compliance, regulatory reporting, and data quality. This role focuses on ensuring firm rules are accurately reflected in daily systems and processes. You will gain exposure to trading systems, the trade lifecycle, and operations workflows while working on both recurring tasks and a dedicated long-term project.
What you'll do#
- Support trading and compliance system upgrades by writing and running test scripts, validating behavior, and documenting results.
- Assist with regulatory tasks such as personal trading reviews, regulatory disclosures, periodic certifications, and reconciliations.
- Build, pilot, and test lightweight automations and internal tools to improve reporting and workflow efficiency.
- Manage a project mapping key security fields to the compliance rules that depend on them.
- Work with security and reference data to understand how data fields drive compliance.
- Develop familiarity with the trade lifecycle, including pre-trade checks, execution, allocation, and settlement.
- Support diligence efforts for third-party data, research, and technology providers.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work independently and stay organized across multiple workstreams.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to spot errors.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and testing your own assumptions.
- Willingness to ask questions and speak up when needed.
- A data-minded approach with experience working with structured information and system outputs.
- Comfort using basic automation and AI tools to streamline work. SQL experience is a plus.

- Compensation: $4,700 to $5,400 per month.
