About the role#
The Post Closing CEMA/COOP Specialist supports the Post Closing team by managing the workflow of CEMA and Cooperative loan files. This role involves direct communication with settlement agents, investors, and internal departments to ensure documentation is accurate and collateral packages are processed and shipped according to internal timelines.
What you'll do#
- Monitor the suspended closed loan pipeline to track CEMA and CO-OP loan files.
- Input data for the issuance of CEMA and CO-OP documents.
- Assemble collateral packages and ship them to investors.
- Document the receipt and shipment of collateral packages within the loan system.
- Coordinate with settlement agents to manage document signing and filing.
- Meet daily production goals and adhere to internal service level agreements.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage closing or post closing activities.
- Working knowledge of CEMA and CO-OP loan files.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- A current Notary Public commission is a plus.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting is preferred.
