About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice while preparing for a future Pharmacist role. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap designed to provide hands-on experience with pharmacy operations under the direction of a preceptor. This position focuses on supporting the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient service for our patients.
What you'll do#
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Offer to counsel, field medical questions, and solicit information on a patient’s medical history.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes.
- Complete basic inventory activities, including putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks.
- Support immunizations by educating patients, reviewing patient information, and monitoring for adverse reactions.
What you'll need#
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required.
- Ability to complete required training within a designated timeframe.

- Schedule: Part-time, including nights and weekends.
