About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap designed to prepare you for a future Pharmacist role. This position involves gaining an overview of store, district, and regional operations while supporting the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
What you'll do#
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Offer to counsel patients and field medical questions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify medication details.
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as putting away medication deliveries and performing cycle counts.
- Educate patients about the importance of vaccines and assist with immunizations where allowable by law.
What you'll need#
- Acceptance into or active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or the process of obtaining, a valid intern or technician license.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Ability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods.

- Location: College Station, Texas.
- Schedule: Part-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- Modality: On-site.
