About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe retail pharmacy environment. This is a part-time, on-site position in South Portland, Maine.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs and support patient health outcomes.
- Foster a team culture built on energy, enthusiasm, and care.
- Assist with pharmacy operations including inventory management, workflow, and quality assurance.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and your pharmacy team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
