About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a training roadmap that covers store, district, and regional operations. This role focuses on helping our pharmacy teams deliver on our brand promise while you develop the skills necessary to transition into a Pharmacist role.
What you'll do#
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Offer to counsel patients and field medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify details when necessary.
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as putting away medication deliveries and performing cycle counts.
- Provide immunization support, including patient education and documentation, once you meet state and training requirements.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive team environment by assisting colleagues and maintaining clear communication.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Flexibility to work in your home store and travel to other locations across the market as needed.

- This is a part-time, paid internship.
- The role follows a rolling term structure.
- Work is performed on-site.
