About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work as part of the pharmacy team to deliver patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role focuses on maintaining a safe and effective pharmacy environment while supporting patient health through various programs and services.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to support customer health.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or progress toward, a valid intern or technician license.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs, remain upright for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
