About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy education to real-world practice while preparing for a Pharmacist role. You will work under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader to complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. This role focuses on deepening your understanding of pharmacy operations, patient safety, and drug utilization review.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Offer to counsel and field medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify medication details.
- Perform basic inventory activities including cycle counts, returns-to-stock, and waiting bin inventories.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
- Valid intern and/or technician licensure.

- Location: Round Rock, Texas.
- This is an on-site, paid position.
- The role operates on a rolling basis.
