About the role#
We are hiring Actuarial Co-op and Intern students for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position where you will work on-site in Toronto, Calgary, or Mississauga. You will support the Property and Casualty Actuarial Department and gain hands-on experience in a professional insurance environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the Property and Casualty Actuarial Department with rate analysis, cost benefit analysis, research, and modelling.
- Assist with the management of actuarial databases.
- Produce internal reports regarding product and market results, as well as auto and property quote success rates.
- Manage and complete one or more projects independently.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Completion of at least one SOA or CAS exam.
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance.
- Proficiency with MS Office software, specifically Excel, Word, and Access.
- Experience using SAS.
- Familiarity with WTW Radar software is considered an asset.
